There’s no holiday quite like The Fourth of July. The day is long, the evening is warm, and everybody’s in a great mood as they gather around the grill. Then the evening is topped off by thrilling displays of fireworks to celebrate our nation’s independence.
Colorado’s spring storms are notorious for wreaking havoc on trees in urbanized areas. Cyclonic winds and lightning strikes are common and trees weakened by soil shifts, nearby construction or poor health and maintenance are most likely to be affected.

Don’t wait until the tree in your yard is dead to take action
If a tree falls in a neighborhood and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? It might, except that you’re likely not to hear the tree noise above the screams from neighbors about the resulting damage.
