With 48% tree coverage, Denver Country Club is one of the city’s most shaded neighborhoods, exceeding metro Denver's neighborhood goal by 30%. Canopies of 100-year-old American elms spread magnificently over generous sized lots, 350+ stately homes and parkways. In the late 1800s the area was home to stables for sulky racing. It’s the oldest country club west of the Mississippi and among the longest continually operating country clubs nationwide.
