HOA Commercial

Greenwood Village set requirements for minimum planting throughout the community. A minimum tree canopy is required but does not limit additional trees.

When the sidewalk is separated from the street by a parkway or tree-lawn at least five (5) feet wide, canopy shade trees shall be planted. They must be spaced between 25 and 40 ft apart depending on the species and its mature canopy. If the tree-lawn is less than five feet wide, trees shall be placed on the inside of the sidewalk. When the sidewalk is adjacent to the street, canopy shade trees shall be are to be planted from three to seven feet behind the sidewalk. When the sidewalk is 10+ feet wide and adjacent to the street, canopy shade trees shall be planted at minimum sixteen square feet at thirty-foot to forty-foot spacing.
