Emerald Ash Borer

Emerald Ash Borers were introduced to North America in the early 1990s. Trees native to North America have little resistance to this new pest. Fifteen percent or more of Colorado's urban and community trees are ash, and many of these trees are located on private property. In the Midwest and eastern areas of North America where the insect has been present for several years, EAB has already killed many millions of ash trees, according to Colorado State University Extension Service. Protect the ash trees on your property with ongoing maintenance and proactive EAB prevention by Donovan Arborists.
